ACCOMMODATIONS
Lodging in Yerevan is relatively cheap compared to most European destinations. Airbnb has gained enough traction in the city to offer competitive rates, so I'd recommend starting there. For around $40 a night, you can find a modern, centrally-located apartment for two (or more) in Kentron, Yerevan's downtown district.

Yerevan also boasts a ridiculously affordable hostel culture that's perfect for solo travelers looking to meet new people. I'm picky when it comes to cleanliness, but pleasantly surprised to find that many of Yerevan's hostels surpass my strict standards at rates for as low as $7 a night.

Hotels are my least favorite option because they're unnecessarily pricey. Save the money because it goes a long way in exploring the rest of the country. Opt for a modest apartment instead to connect with the local pace and lifestyle. It adds more to the Armenia experience than any luxury amenities at a hotel could.

I'll be posting plenty of content detailing this topic in the coming months, so stay tuned for more info.
